World so vast, planet's rotation
Billions alive, fast paced generation.
Lost in the crowd, who am I out here?
Does anyone know me?
Hear my voice, loud and clear?
He sees who we are, what we do, how we feel,
In this world where we seem to be a mere miniscule
Cog in the wheel of Earth's constant rotation
Progress, success, goals of this generation.
He sees us struggle to find our way
In a world that moves faster and grows louder each day.
And when we falter and are clouded with confusion
Our God sends us aid, a love infusion.
For He sees us, His child, His creation, His joy
Wherever we are His light is deploiyed
To repair and infuse us with His love, peace, and hope
To assure us He is here, to guide us to cope
With whatever this world brings us. HLF
I Made a Wish - You Came True
I made a wish and you came true - I had a dream where I envisioned you,
For someone who could read my heart and understand what resides inside,
I made a wish for love to find me and never feel the need to hide.
I made a wish to feel the kind of love that enfolds and keeps me close,
That allows me to feel confident and encourages me to learn and grow.
I made a wish and you came true - in my dreams I envisioned you,
The one who loves me as I am and celebrates the future I see,
Who longs to build a loving home and fill it with our family.
I made a wish and you came true - but even in my dreams,
You - in flesh before me, in my heart it truly seems
Only Heaven could have sent you to me. HLF
